Answer 1: |
If you look in the box of your SR-HD1500 (SR-HD1250) you will find a CD-Rom which includes instruction manuals in the widely used PDF format in the following languages; German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian (for the SR-HD1500ER). You can use the Adobe reader to view these instruction manuals and print them if needed. |

Answer 2: |
The HDMI output on the SR-HD1500/1250 has HDCP copy protection enabled permanently. You need to use a monitor that supports HDCP in order to view the image even if the content itself is not protected. |

Question 3: |
When I connect the HDMI output to a monitor and the Component output to another monitor the component monitor always shows me a standard definition signal no matter what the format of the content I am playing is. Can I have an HD output signal on both HDMI and Component? |

Answer 3: |
Yes this is possible. You need to navigate to the settings menu by pressing the “setup” button on the remote and selecting the “connection” tab. Here if you set the “HDMI Video Mode” to OFF the component output will carry an HD signal. The HDMI output will follow whatever the setting for the component output is. |
